Why not think about it now???

Recently after the submarine accidents Adm. D. K. Joshi, chief of the Indian naval staff, submitted his resignation, “taking moral responsibility for the accidents and incidents which have taken place during the past few months”.
The submarine, Sindhuratna, was forced to surface after smoke was detected on board. Seven crew members were airlifted from the submarine and admitted to a hospital in Mumbai, where they were in stable condition.
The fire on the Sindhuratna came six months after another Russian-made submarine, the Sindhurakshak, exploded and sank while docked in Mumbai, killing 18 crew members, the worst maritime loss in India in four decades.
The above mentioned lines are the recent breaking news in the whole nation. Amid all these accidents something bigger and graver has stepped into existence, and that appalling thing is a question. Today a question mark has been punctuated on the whole nation’s security. After the recent mishaps with the Indian submarines and the Navy officers on board, the whole nation’s security’s vulnerability has reached out to every home and to every enemy too and has  compelled the whole nation to mull over the real cause behind all these and  moot this important issue for debate and discussion.
Notwithstanding blame game, let’s focus on the issue to excavate the paramount problem behind all such things.
Indian Navy, which is considered as the most professional of the country’s three military services, is there is serve the nation not to be an impediment to the progress of the nation and a commendable thing is that all the officers of Indian Navy as well as all the military services are completely resolute to their duty and the whole nation but can a workman work sans good tools. No doubt, it would be pretty hard for him to work and in some cases next to impossible. In India the same story continues. Here first of all the workman is not provided with sufficient tools and if he is provided then tools are not taken care of by the authorities. Today so many accidents are taking place with the ships, submarines etc. just because of lack of service and maintenance of the ships, submarines etc. by the government. All Indian submarines have lived 75% of their desired operational life and if a war breaks out then they all would act as a failure because of lack of servicing and bad equipment. All the bad effect of this has be borne by the military men at work.
Here scientists, economists, innovators and soldiers get no support and this is the main problem that we are facing. Brain drain problem which has been harassing the whole nation took birth just due to a lack of interest of government in science and other sectors. Today 36% of the scientists at NASA are from India.  If that's not proof enough of Indian scientific and corporate prowess, digest this: 34% employees at Microsoft, 28% at IBM, 17% at Intel and 13% at Xerox are Indians.  In India adequate instruments are not provided to the scientists as well as military which lead to huge problems in the long run. Today India is not having its own military tanks, aircraft carriers, submarines etc. just due to lack of funding for scientific research. India has to import military equipment from countries like Russia, USA and UK and these machines are not of the expected quality.
Former Navy Chief Admiral  Arun Prakash notes that “The Russian defense manufacturing system is decrepit, unreliable and corrupt and the navy has to take a deep and hard look at its equipment.” The research work in India is not being funded and the scientists are not able to make breakthrough and have to import various equipment from countries like Russia and USA. India is building dozens of other warships also, but many of the projects rely on Russian equipment. For example- the  refurbished aircraft carrier that India recently purchased from Russia has had its own share of problems, including breakdowns in its boilers .At any given time, India has just five or six operational submarines, considered far too few to guard the country’s extensive coastline and all this makes the whole nation vulnerable to an easy defeat at waters.
Today the whole world is advancing forward and in Asia a very serious condition similar to cold war has been there. India’s opponents are more in numbers and its pals are less and today India definitely needs to be more self-reliant and self-dependent to face the competition. Advances in scientific research in nations like China are also very threatening and if we fail today, if we don’t make sure that we are ready to defend ourselves  then I believe that we will not be able to stand up against with the same might. Today due to lack of interest shown by the government in defense sector, India is facing a lot of problems which can be very ghastly and fatal and can further become irreparable and that’s why I believe that we need to ponder about it today.

A man to be honoured and followed..

Amid so many disastrous and heartrending news, the whole media flashed news about an accountable, untainted and straightforward person who chose to live life on his own terms. This man’s attitude towards life and work has impeccably portrayed that Mother India has not stopped begetting valiant sons and this pre-eminent person has proved that people of India still carry love and care for the great Mother India.

The great man, aforementioned here is Sir. Devender Kumar Joshi, Ex-Navy Chief of India. In an unexpected and unprecedented move the former Navy Chief of India Sir Devender Kumar Joshi bowed down from his duty as the navy chief on grounds of moral responsibility.
Today no one is ready to accept his/her mistake or blunder. If a task is botched up, people start blaming each other, for example we blame our politicians for the contemporary pitiful condition of India, although we are the ones who bear the onus as we are the people who have elected them. But Mr. Joshi committed an aberration when he proved that winners don’t do different things, they do things differently. Mr. Joshi resigned for the recent unfortunate events that took place with the Indian submarines, although they were due to technical glitches and snags in the machine. He took full responsibility of the events citing that he is responsible and accountable for the accidents as the navy was under him when these accidents took place and then resigned. He, just like our some unworthy politicians and people could have criticized and defamed others for dereliction of duty but he simply gave his resignation and stepped out from such an eminent and coveted post. Former Navy Chief Admiral Arun Prakash said,” HE has done the honorable thing. The buck stops with him. The tradition in India is not two own up moral responsibility. Our politicians and bureaucrats should take a hint from Admiral Joshi’s conduct.” These respectable words can be said for none other than a great person and Mr. Joshi indeed deserved such words as the work that he has carried out can only be done by none but a sacrificing soul who has given his whole life for the service and betterment of people, this can only be done by a person who has not dreamt of a better life but of a better country, this can be done only by a man who doesn’t demand for an easy life but demanded the spunkiness to fight the hardships of life.
Recently INS Sindhuratna the third Kilo Class sub to meet with an accident since August 2013. It’s the 12th involving a Naval Warship in last 7 months. Navy says only 4 were serious. Following this event and taking full responsibility of the accident Mr. Joshi abdicated his office.

Today the whole India needs leaders. The whole India want people who are ready to take the nation forward rather than wanting to come into limelight, today India want people who are ready to serve as the foundation brick of the nation. Today if India wants to survive, it needs people who are ready to give away their life for the welfare of nation and Mr. Devender Kumar Joshi is one of them. India today needs hero like him.

Let's go for it.

Today the whole world is aware of the humongous power of the Asian continent where according to the economists GDP rises by more than 5% every year and the continent which fosters powerful nations like India and China. But in this continent something harsh is contemporarily going on.

The relationship between different nations is festering. Although this has been a problem for many years but now with the bellicose China, Terrorist producing Pakistan and other conflicts in different nations of the continent have exaggerated the difference which has led to the situation which was prevalent during the World War 1 and has jeopardized the whole continent into peril.

During the World–War 1 Britain and Germany went to war despite of the fact that they were interdependent on each other for growth and economy and the same thing is taking place in the today’s Asia. The fault lacunae have risen today because of the misalignment of the political relationships between the Asian countries. Today Asian countries are bounded with each other in the terms of economy and trade but politically on various issues especially border issues which have not been sorted out and sent into graves , the countries are in a position that’s not very much different from the conditions conducive to the World War-III. Today the whole world’s spotlight on Asia’s soaring and unbounded economy has distracted the attention of people from the internal matters which vex the whole Asian continent.

Only economy will not be able to take the continent forward. Economy as well as politics is indispensable to take the continent forward but with rising arguments and clash of opinions between the nations of the continent its becoming difficult and difficult to take the continent forwards.

For example- China and Japan. China and Japan, both the nations continue to argument over the ownership of Senkaku/Diaoyu islands.
Japan’s still formidable lead in technology allows it to provide much of the production machinery in Chinese factories and many of the core components in Chinese-made products that have helped make China’s rise possible. Japan’s struggling electronics companies, in turn, have become dependent on sales to China’s lower-cost manufacturers, which use Japanese memory chips, display panels and other parts in many of their high-tech products.
The iPhone is just one example. Although the phones are assembled in China, many of their most sophisticated parts are supplied by Japanese companies like Toshiba and TDK. Japanese content is so high that there were even calls during the recent anti-Japan protests to boycott the iPhone, according to Japanese news reports.
Beyond that, low-priced Chinese goods have become an important part of coping in economically stagnant Japan, embraced by consumers weary of declining wages and living standards.
Both the nations are interdependent on each other but still they clearly and vehemently oppose each other’s stance on the ownership of the Senkaku Islands which has raised many challenges. Even India’s more than half sea trade is possible due to the waters of this island and the whole Asia depends on this important island directly or indirectly. If trade is barred from this island then the whole Asia would have to suffer from the consequences that ensue.
We can take the next issue of China and India. For a very long time China has been at dispute with India on border issues. China continues to exert its ownership on the state of Arunachal Pradesh which is an integral part of India. People of India are very much disappointed the denizens of India which are very much harassed and antagonized by the issues with China and intrusion of Chinese military in the Indian Territory illegitimately. These things have exaggerated the problems between the two nations which can lead to severe problems in the long run.
Such problems will definitely stop the development of the whole continent. Today we need to fill the lacunae developed in the whole continent’s politics and bridge the gap between the nations by taking a proactive approach towards it. Today we need to realize the onus on our shoulder.

Great so-called equality.

Nowadays the whole India is sunk into the politics. Politics has been inexplicable deep rooted in the whole nation. But nowadays due to enormous rapacity of power and money, today unintellectual people have got into it who tend to divide the nation just for money and votes and are staunch supporters of “DIVIDE AND RULE” and are completely unfazed by the problems people face due to their policies.
One such topic is RESERVATION……………..
Although reservation is a very contentious issue in India, people even fear to talk about it but I still believe that we need to talk about it.
Reservation was allocated and given space in the constitution of India when practices like untouchability, casteism were prevalent. Segregation of people on the basis of their caste was a mundane thing which you could observe in every household.SO to combat this thing, our Constitutional Assembly members carved out a new way. To tackle the aforementioned problems, they thought of inducing “Reservation” into the constitution. Certain provision were made for people from lower castes, for a given period of time, so that they could also come up and get themselves involved into the mainstream India, but they never thought that their predecessors would extend the allocated deadline in order to exploit people and make people from lower castes their “VOTE BANK”.
The first vote card was played by the government of V.P. Singh, Former Prime Minister of India, who implemented Mandal Commission. The Mandal Commission was established in India in 1979 by the Janata Party government under Prime Minister Morarji Desai with a mandate to "identify the socially or educationally backward." It was headed by Indian parliamentarian B.P. Mandal to consider the question of seat reservations and quotas for people to redress caste discrimination, and used eleven social, economic, and educational indicators to determine backwardness. In 1980, the commission's report affirmed the affirmative action practice under Indian law whereby members of lower castes (known as Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) were given exclusive access to a certain portion of government jobs and slots in public universities, and recommended changes to these quotas, increasing them by 27% to 49.5%.
The first “Vote Card” was played by V.P. Singh, Former Prime Minister of India, who implemented the Mandal Commission and divided the whole India for ever.
I consider the fact that reservation was a necessity at the time of Independence, but after some years reservation should have become obsolete but our politicians used it, to make their vote banks to play the dirty game of politics.
The consequences of Reservation which we see today are very much harsh and disgusting.
The first one is of politics. Today every politician tries to divide people on basis of their caste. This practice is so much prevalent in the whole India that in some areas only Dalits can win and in some only Brahmins can, no matter how hard you work for the people of the constituency but they are going to choose the person of their caste only. This has led to huge losses to the whole India. If casteism would have been ended before, India would not have to bear the difficulties which ensued from this disease of reservation and caste.
The second is that today Reservation is an alarming threat to the whole nation. The constitution of India gives the whole nation right to equality but today due to reservation inequality is present in the whole nation. People are given job not because of their ability, but due to their caste. Ridiculous! Something to be completely ashamed of.
The next thing is the weakening of people. Today people are getting advantage of reservation are being alienated from the mainstream India. Those people who even today use reservation are thought to be fragile. This has led to huge emotional imbalance among people, especially youth and we definitely need to check it or we will lose the united India for ever.
The fourth thing is growing resentment among the youth. Today youth belonging to general category are developing in them rage for the whole system due to which people who are less efficient than them are taking away the jobs and opportunities. Many people who are able to do things and are adept at those things are not being given chance and opportunity because of this reservation only. How would you feel when a person inferior to you would get the job you were vying for? You would in yourself develop a rage for this whole system which would result in the degradation of the whole country.
The other thing is less efficient people. It is not a hidden fact that extraordinary and intelligent student are there in SC/ST and OBC category but many students who are not worthy to do the jobs are chosen due to reservation. Let’s take the example of CTET(Center Teacher Eligibility Test). For students from SC/ST and OBC category the cut off is of 82 while for students belonging to the General Category is of more than 90. Let’s suppose that a student from General Category secures 89 while an OBC candidate gets 82. The OBC candidate would clear the test and the general candidate would lag behind and also there is no denying in the fact that the one who got 89 is more intelligent than the candidate with 82 and this will lead to huge inefficacy in the education system. Although the two candidates have studied from the same university or college but still the less intelligent one would get the job and the other one not. Isn’t that like a nightmare? It is truly and due to this thing, every year thousands of students commit suicide because despite of being intelligent and hard-working they got nothing. Same things continue in Medical professions, judiciary professions etc. and went on to deteriorate the whole system.
The other thing is exploitation of reservation by people. Let’s suppose that you belong to general category and you are a pauper. You have a son who is very intelligent, studies in a government school and wants to crack IIT. Now let’s also suppose that there is a businessman whose son studies in a top class school of Delhi and the businessman has an income of more than 2 lakh per month. Your son and the businessman’s son give the same JEE paper. Although your son got high marks than that of the son of a businessman but still son of the businessman qualifies and your son doesn’t. Although the son of businessman had more amenities but still he got the benefit of reservation. Is it good? How would you feel? You would start hating the nation. Such things happen regularly to many people but out vote bank politics has no room for their grievances.
Next thing that follows is more reservation. Now after watching the reservation being given to SC/ST and OBC many people from different caste groups are asking for reservation, sitting on dharnas, immolating themselves. This has led to more division of the whole nation.
How great it would have been, if we would have given reservation on the basis of the economic condition of people. People with bad economic background would have come up and the divide between the rich and poor India would have been reduced. People with skill would have been given opportunities and those who are not deft would have been egressed. This egregious system of reservation would have proved to be good if it would have been given on the level of amenities that people are having, their annual income and their economic background.

But haplessly our Vote Bank politics has no space for our say and voice. It can only listen to those who suggest ways to debilitate the nation.

Politicizing the politics...

“Politics is a dirty game” and “Politics ruins the character”, you don’t need anything except these two aphorisms to expound the enormity of the cupidity of power in India. Today Indian politics has plummeted to such a nadir that if you analyze the situation, you would get inflicted with politico phobia. Today’s India politics is clad in holistic cover of scams, greed of power and apathy to the problems being endured by the common people or what they call “Mango Man” of India.

Henry Adams once quoted that “Power is poison” and Indian politician have taken that so much gravely that they have determined to become the great Lord NeelKanth and just want to swallow this poison and are ready to get this truculent and tasty poison so much that when they got no issue, they politicized to entails prisoners in their politics.

Now when our politicians were left with nothing to speak about they started politicizing the prisoners. Today the whole media is flooded with a deluge of debates on the prisoners and a plethora of comments being given by different ministers, politicians etc.
Recently Supreme Court spared the killers of Rajiv Gandhi from gallows. With this the three killers of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi have got their execution order commuted. A bench headed by Chief Justice P Sathasivam rejected the Centre's submission that there was no unreasonable delay in deciding their mercy plea and the condemned prisoners did not go through agonizing experience as they were enjoying life behind the bars. Supreme Court took this action as the mercy petition of the convicts was pending in the office of President of India and the Central Government also didn’t took any decision to expedite the process and remained totally unfazed by such a crucial issue and due to such dilatory attitude of the government Supreme Court decided to commute the life sentence of the convicts.

But after this judgment of Supreme Court, the “War of Words” commenced. The first comments came from Jammu & Kashmir where Mehbooba Mufti rebuked the government for the execution of Afzal Guru saying that by not executing the killers of Rajiv Gandhi and sending Afzal Guru to the execution, the government has alienated the region of Jammu & Kashmir.
After that the Indian National Congress (INC) party which never thought about the petition of mercy of the assassinators in the 11 years came in opposition of the judgment of the honorable Supreme Court of India.
And the very next day, J Jayalalithaa, Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, asks for termination of all of their punishment and took the plea to the governor of the state just to garner votes from Tamil people and Karunanidhi, former CM of Tamil Nadu also propped the idea of termination of the punishment of the killers of Rajiv Gandhi.

But one thing that we can very well imagine is the cruelty in Indian politics. Mehbooba Mufti on this matter said that J&K has been alienated. What’s she saying? She demanded for the termination of the imprisonment of a person who had colluded with anti-India force and had planned the attacks on the temple of Democracy of India, the Indian Parliament. This is a great effort to divide the nation. How can people do politics on terrorists? Terrorism sees no religion, no place and no region but still when these so called dirty leaders got nothing to say they started saying about the prisoners.

The other thing is the attempt by the CM of Tamil Nadu and the former CM of the concerned state is also a reprehensible one. She is asking the nation to set free those prisoners who killed the former Prime Minister of India. If such thing is done, then definitely the soul of all the great men of India would hurt. How can people plunge to such low just to woo people to vote for them? Is not it deplorable? Such condition of Indian politics is truly conducive to such state of India in which the progress has become stagnant. Today people have started loathing politics just because of such people who try to politicize all such thing. Politicians even don’t leave away wars. Some say that India’s win over Pakistan in 1971 was more courageous than that of Kargil while some say that the Kargil is more to be proud of. Youths of the nation hate politics due to such things. When the killers of Prime Minister can be demanded to set free, then imagine what’s happening with the Common Man today. The condition of Common Man today is completely execrable.

If we go on politicizing such things then that day is not far when everything would be seen in terms of gain and politics.

Today we need to change our approach or the time will change us all.

Monster Chasing the nation...

Coalitions can be imputed as the biggest blunder ever committed in the whole Indian history. In face coalition governments are the most decisive reason behind India’s deplorable condition. Where ever there is coalition government, you are inevitably going to address stabbing in the back.

Coalition government is a type of government in which two or more parties amalgamate in order to run the government as no party could achieve a clear majority in the elections. One more thing to add here is that it’s the worst type of government that gives nation nothing except deceleration and pitiful condition.

Coalition governments are just like a mighty monster that could not control his power and has been beaten to pulp and dashed to ground. Can two people having the same goal, so cupid to kill each other be ready to shake hands and give the third one the pomegranate of which they were looking for? Definitely not! How can you get ready to give your most valuable thing to a third person? You can never give your most coveted thing , you have craved all your life and if someone takes that thing away from you, you just want to kill and mow him down no matter innocents are affected.
The same thing happens in the coalition government where people with the same goal try to convene to betray each other and carry the day to get the lion’s share and in between this people just forget the nation.  You can very well think of UPA-II and AAP government in Delhi in this case. Both the governments came to power with a coalition and are now counting their down as their apocalypse in very much near. Congress in its whole term with UPA-II remained busy attending the allies and could do nothing. It had to bear Mamta Didi from Bengal, Karunanidhi from Tamil Nadu and many others who finally left it in the middle way to rebuke the congress alone for the works they all had committed collectively. AAP (Aam Admi Party) was also decried to take the support from Congress and eventually Mr. Kejriwal was dumped and made an oblivion star who couldn’t control the light. If we look at both the situations then we find out that if they would not have taken support from others and would have come on their own then they could have done it much better if not the best. They could have worked on their own and with their own terms sans any problem or constriction and their images would not have been marred.

The other thing to note here is the emergence of Third Front. Third Front truly doesn’t possess the caliber to form government at the center and choose their own Prime Minister but could cut the votes of BJP and Congress at various place. For example in Odisha, Naveen Patnaik has all the chances to get good votes in the 2014 election and such situations are also conducive to the formation of a coalition government which could in the long run dispose any possibility of a powerful government.
But nowadays due to the emergence of too many regional parties, Coalition is flowing into the atmosphere of politics. People today have wider choices to vote than ever before and that’s why this has led to polarization of votes to more than one group which has made it difficult for a party to form the government individually. Due to this today many parties face so many problems and specially large parties like BJP and Congress. Let’s take the example of Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi sat on Dharna against Corruption and gave speeches in which he vehemently rebuked corruption and stigmatize those who practice it but finally had to collude with corruption accuse Lalu Prasad Yadav, who has been a primary accused in “Fodder Scam” and was also imprisoned for the same.  Rahul Gandhi truly would not have liked to collude with Lalu Prasad Yadav , but he had to because he wants to win the election and he knows that his own party could not compete with Nitish Kumar and BJP in Bihar, so he opted or Lalu Prasad Yadav, as his partner in Bihar. Congress did the very same thing with others including DMK, Trinamool Congress but all of them left the coalition and later admonished it for the various number of scams etc. that took place during its reign.

In coalition the main problem is that governments have to be run on the terms of others which lead to huge problems. If demands of all the parties are not satisfied they can leave the government which could lead to fall of the government and events like this hamper the enactment of good and stiff policies as it could lead to problems for others.  For example AAP. Kejriwal did nothing during his 49 days for the people except saying that “Everyone except him is corrupt” but if he would have got his own majority then he would definitely had a good longer period and he could have taken good decisions but he could not and outside support from Congress marred his reputation also which lead to deflation in his popularity.

Such things truly are not good for a nation because the common people of the nation have to bear the brunt of all such things which leads to exacerbation of their problems. Due to inefficiency of the government with coalition the whole nation has to suffer policy paralysis, non-functioning of parliament  and all such things have to be borne by the common man whose life is at stake.

Hope that this coalition government’s ghost will leave the nation soon or we will plunge into the ditch of failure.

49 Day Theater Show

Finally after such an unbearable drama Aam Admi Party (AAP) has resigned. After 49 days in power the Kejriwal Government stepped out of power. Kejriwal government gave the whole Delhi a daily serial type entertainment in which Kejriwal was the lone hero of the world and others were sans any proof evil and monstrous. If Kejriwal’s ministers were to indulge in wrongdoings they were allowed to and if any one comes out to admonish them, Kejriwal would get them ousted or would call them the paid workers of Narendra Modi.

Kejriwal government sworn in at Ramlila Maidan on December 28, 2013. No one had ever thought that Kejriwal would form the government with the help of Congress Party, the party which he used to deplore and loathe from alpha to omega but Kejriwal is his own boss and created a whole drama by conducting some Open-Voting at some places and without any proof proclaimed that people of Delhi wanted him to form the government.

After coming to power Mr. Kejriwal changed completely and transformed himself from public servant to an anarchist. He, before elections called Congress corrupt and tainted, but after elections said that he was not having any proof against the Congress government which ruled Delhi for 15 years before him and counterattacked BJP by saying that if BJP is ready to give us the proof then we will take actions against the Congress Government. Mr. Kejriwal, you had promised to send the corrupt ministers to jail no BJP, so you are solely responsible for all these things.

The other thing is that when a Danish woman was raped in Delhi, Kejriwal said that I will try to find out why such things happen and then said that Half-rapes should take place. This shows that this man is completely indifferent to the problems being faced by the daughters of Delhi who are regularly being sexually assaulted. Half rapes should take place!! Is a Chief Minister supposed to say such things? I don’t think so.

Next thing is that before coming to power Kejriwal on his Dharnas  said that Politics can be cleaned by coming in politics and after becoming the CM of Delhi he proclaimed that Politics can be cleaned by doing Dharnas. After becoming CM he sat on Dharna in order to get the honest officer, who restrained his Law Minister and party workers from assaulting African Women in Delhi , ousted for no reason and also became a self-proclaimed anarchist and blatantly threatened the government to disrupt the Republic Day Parade by not going away from the Dharna. Hasn’t he transcended his boundaries too much? Is he supposed to do run the Delhi Government or do Dharnas? I think that Kejriwal definitely needs to learn a lot.

His party came to power on the matter of corruption but after coming to power he did nothing to curb corruption and didn’t send any of the corrupt ministers or MLAs into prison and not even started a probe against them. Where is the Kejriwal who used to say nothing but “Remove Corruption”? Was that Kejriwal only a political stunt?
The other thing is the first he passed indignant comments against the Home Minister of India Sushil Kumar Shinde by using rude language against him and then afterwards his party members called the Lieutenant  Governor of Delhi “Agent of Congress”. Whosoever is no ready to praise Kejriwal for his bad works is an agent of Congress or BJP. No one, not even God is more honest than Kejriwal. Synonym of Honest is Kejriwal. Great Joke!!

His schemed for water and electricity are not applicable too. These have not been even regulated in many areas of Delhi like Dwarka where people suffer an acute water shortage. All his promises have gone in vain and he has not fulfilled even one of them.

In his 49 days of being in power Kejriwal did nothing which I could extol him for or mention here. He did nothing but gave the whole media daily breaking news which could serve as an entertainment source for the people of Delhi.

Stigma on nation.

It was a golden year of 1949 when India made a tryst with destiny when the whole nation adopted the constitution and mutated into a Constitutional Representative Democracy.

We formed a nation which was indeed a sovereign, republic and independent nation which was conceived with liberty and accommodated all the denizens with the belief and proud of being an India. A nation was formed which would practice complete non-violence and was entrenched on the beliefs and principles of great souls who gave away their life to see the nation reborn. We were given a nation in which we were free to express what we believe in, free to do what we want to do and choose to go where we want to go. We were endowed with a proposition that we all are created equal and are not going to be segregated on the basis of our beliefs, caste, creed or anything.
The whole dumb nation was given a voice through the constitutional representative democracy and still today the whole nation uses that voice. Still today the voter is the master of the representative just because of Representative Democracy principle. Still today we are colored in the vibrant colors of that democracy. We are the best and the largest democracy of this whole world.

But…

But yesterday we all saw a picture in our parliament which proved to a stigma on the whole nation. We saw in our country an environment which rocked the whole nation. The people who were deputed to represent us made us lose face. They fought like cats and dogs. Some threw away the microphone, some broke the glass of the tables and some sprayed pepper spray. The whole world saw our representative fatuous activities and laughed on us. A situation similar to a combat was formed which scared the whole nation and humiliated us to such a low which we could never ever imagine. The whole nation was made to cry. Lok Sabha was turned into a Joke Sabha. Things were like as if no one believed in parliamentary democracy. No one had anything to do with the beliefs of the great people who made the nation reborn. It was a complete shame for all of us.

Telangana issue is in itself a very contentious issue, the whole nation knows that. But are our representatives supposed to do things like that. The whole parliament was converted into a circus in which animals were let out and no one knew what to do. Still now I can’t believe what really happened. It’s so defamatory. If Telangana is a contentious issue then it needs to talked about seriously and in a well-mannered way but what they did yesterday truly showed that our representatives don’t believe in the system we are having, so what are they doing there. Instead of representing people they tried to show their own resentment and the level which they can transcend to scare others.

The act done yesterday was something that would have definitely disturbed the souls of those people who irrigated this land with their blood. It’s a bruise on the whole nation which has ashamed us all and would take a long time and beating to be washed away.
Feeling really ashamed and sorry to our great ancestors.

Feeling totally embarrassed.....

What can be more deplorable than situation in which Indians are slaying down each other and especially when there is no reason behind it? Again a matter of segregation has come up in which a young boy named Nido Tania, died due to injuries inflicted on him by some shopkeepers in Lajpat Nagar area of South Delhi.

It has not been a covert fact to us that people from North-East India have been facing discrimination on the basis of their look, their eyes etc. People from states like Arunachal Pradesh who are themselves vexed by China are called Chinese and Japanese in northern India. Not many but almost all the students as well as people who migrate to other parts of India have to harshly deal with such type of severe, unfair and deplorable segregation. But such things are not adhered to by the authorities as well as by the people. If such racial attacks take place in nations like Australia, Britain and United States of America, then the whole India unites to condemn and decry the authorities of the concerned nation, Indian ambassador gives interviews and pleads to the government of the nation to take some stiff action against such unjust discrimination, but if such things happen in our own country and are carried out by our own countrymen then we all remain silent sans even uttering a word. Till now so many students from the regions of the seven sister states have been killed just because of their facial appearance, some who couldn't cope up with the discrimination committed suicide. Such things regularly happen but we people turn a deaf ear to the grieved and harassed people.

North-East regions have been an integral and indispensable part of the nation without which we cannot even dream our nation on the globe. People from the north-eastern India have been staunch and worthy sons of mother India. They have fought for the freedom and have been got beheaded in the wars, so what happens whether they look different from us. According to Science we can all trace our ancestors in Africa. We all have originated from Africa but still many people discriminate against the Africans just on the basis of their color. This is rampant in India too. Not all but yes some people definitely do it. But let me tell you one thing that if you are discriminating against anybody then that means that we are abusing our own ancestors. How can other people be different from us? They just like us have the same body, same red colored blood, there is nothing which makes us different from them, but still some people do this. To be born with big eyes or small eyes is not in the hands of a person, it’s just a matter of chance so how can we people blame anybody on the basis of caste, culture, creed, sex, religion, color, facial appearance etc. This is something totally embarrassing and reprehensible. We people are ready to condemn other countries in which Indians face racial attack but when we do the same thing with our own countrymen then what happens.

Recently as I mentioned earlier Nido Tania died just due to his appearance. Did his appearance mattered more than his parent’s dreams which they had seen for him? Was his appearance greater than the love with which his mother would have brought him up? Definitely not! Article 14 of Indian constitution proclaims that everybody is equal before the court of law. Children in India are being taught this from Nursery to Class X but still such things happen. Why? Today Indian brothers are killed each other on such trivial issues. That’s completely out of my understanding. I just can’t think how can anybody resort to kill a person just because he looked different. Does that make any sense? Mother India which fosters the whole world is not even able to save her own children today.

If we seriously want to change today then lets take an oath that from today onwards we are going to raise our voice against any type of discrimination or segregation done to anyone. Let’s today tell people that there is no Muslim India, no Hindu India, no North India, no South India, no northeast India; there  is only one and only one India i.e. my motherland the great Republic Of India.

LET'S CHANGE IT FOR EVER. JAI HIND.

The whole India contemporarily is shrouded by the upcoming enigmatic 2014 elections. Nothing is more anticipated than the question- Who is going to lead the nation for the next five years? Everywhere you can observe people predicting the results of upcoming elections and one thing about which we can’t be evasive is that the coming elections are going to be one of the most decisive elections in the history of India and will have an unparalleled say in the arbitration of the future of the nation.
Choices are definitely clear and lucid this time. Although Congress is reluctant to reveal its Prime Minister candidate but the whole nation knows that if Congress and allies fare well then Rahul Gandhi is an unopposed choice of being the Prime Minister, BJP has already openly proclaimed that the popular Narendra Modi will become the Prime Minister of the nation if NDA clinches victory this time and if we talk about the fledgling Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) then there is little chance of it forming government at the center but if party does then Arvind Kejriwal would definitely, willingly or unwillingly lead the nation and if we look at the third front then they themselves don’t know who will be their leader.

One thing that is a matter of fact here is that the 2014 voter will be a different one. People are definitely not going to look out for your family, background etc. but what is attracting the people to vote this time is “CHANGE” and whoever is ready to bring the change will take the baton of Prime Ministership forward. People are completely blind and indifferent on other topics. They are just going to see whether you have brought out changes at the grass root level, whether you have controlled inflation, whether you have revived economy, are you able to give nation a stable government. These will be the main topics to watch out for this time.

Let’s first talk about Congress. INC (India National Congress) this time has to harshly deal with the noxious and punitive anti-incumbency factor. Due to unsuccessful stint of UPA-II which remained engulfed by the monstrous scams and policy paralysis, people are very much discontented with the party.

The other thing that has been proving as a nightmare to the dreams of Congress party is the unpopular image of Manmohan Singh, the current Prime Minister of India. Manmohan Singh was elected as the Prime Minister due to his untainted image and economy understanding but unfortunately Mr. Singh failed on both the topics. He was himself suspected to be embroiled the Coalgate Scam during the allocation of Coal Blocks to various companies and economy also observed a serious break down with exuberant rise in prices of the commodities. Inflation increased, business decreased, policy paralysis existed and haplessly Mr. Singh could not control all these things and failed the Brand India.
The new face of Indian National Congress (INC) is Rahul Gandhi. Although he has been the face of Congress for a long time but this time it’s sure that if party wins then he will inevitably the Prime Minister of the nation. Rahul Gandhi has himself battered his image. His image has been of a congressman rather than of a countryman.  He calls himself leader of youth but whenever youths have resorted to protest against unfair things, he has not been there to support them. He is away from the hot trending topics and is supposed to be interested in the works of the party only.  Even in his speeches we observe this fact. He says that Congress gave nation this that etc. but never asks what people have actually gotten. He is ready to talk about the promulgation of laws rather than their proper implementation and execution.

The next thing is that Rahul Gandhi has never ever given people the chance to know about his unrevealed potential. People just don’t know whether Rahul Gandhi is able to take the nation forward or not as he has always been busy with his party only. Running a party is a different thing and running a government is a totally different thing. The other thing is that people have also come to know that taking a nation forward is not in anybody’s genes and this has also been proven by Atal Bihar Vajpayee. Rahul Gandhi still needs to go a long way.

Talking about Arvind Kejriwal’s AAP ,  the party has proved to be a total mess and has disappointed the whole state of Delhi. AAP has backed out of all the promises it had made to the people of Delhi, his dharnas have become infamous and notorious. Today authorities fear that if they take action against the wrong doing of the AAP workers then the “self-proclaimed anarchist” Kejriwal will sit on Dharnas to out then for their honest work. He has completely digressed from all the issues on which he was elected. He even threatened to disrupt the 26th January function and has used bad language against the Home Minister of the nation. Kejriwal talks about women empowerment but his own party members mole women, raid their houses at midnight and call these women prostitutes. Electricity outages and acute water shortages are prevalent in the state of Delhi. This shows that Kejriwal needs to learn how to run a government rather than teaching others on how to sit on Dharnas.

Next is BJP. BJP’s Narendra Modi is the most charismatic and popular leader in the nation who knows how to lead the nation and he has proved this by his great development work in Gujarat. He has given the whole nation proof that he can run the government and nation well and better than any other person and the other thing is court has also given him a clean chit exonerating him from the bruises of 2002 Gujarat riot. He is definitely worthy of getting a chance.

What can we say about the third front? Parties are competing with each other under one name. Everyone wants to become the PM but are not able to give the nation a stable government.
The upcoming elections are going to be great and decisive. This time Indian people will fight for a change. Let’s see whether the change will come or not.

India of my dreams is far away...

Any nation which aspires to become developed and prosperous superpower needs to work extensively and dedicatedly in every area. No area can be nixed out as trivial and every matter has to be mooted up for consideration and if we talk about the judiciary system then it’s a paramount and cardinal issue. As far as democracy is concerned, no nation can sustain sans a robust judiciary as its one of the three pillars of democracy, the other two being legislature and executive. Now you can very well mull over the fact that without a good judiciary, the building of democracy is certain to be devastated into dust and in case of India we have everything except a good “JUDICIARY”.

Today India boasts of one of the most promising and auspicious economies in the world, one of the world’s most valiant and courageous army and also world’s largest democracy, but still today we lack at a very crucial platform and that is the judicial system of the nation. Even after 67 years of independence, India judicial has not observed any reforms. Changes have been there but they are so minimal that they cannot be deemed as a complete overhaul. Even today India judicial system is incapable of redressing people’s grievances efficaciously. India has been a world Guru in many fields but in this one unfortunately, India has to be edified.
It’s has been a sagacious aphorism

Justice Delayed is justice denied.

But I believe that Indian judiciary has not been able to read this statement. In India people get justice when their lifetime is denied by the God. Now I believe you can very well imagine how inefficient Indian judicial system is.
A dog barking an accused is in itself not a substantive piece of evidence to prove the accused in guilty, but in India it is. The incident dates back to September 2004, when the bodies of one Subhadrabai and her paramour Nivrutti were found lying in front of their house. Police investigations revealed that there was a dispute between Babar and Subhadrabai over laying of pipes. The police called in the dog squad and the tracker dog barked at Babar who was arrested for the murders. A trial court in 2005 held Babar guilty of murder, while acquitting a co accused and sentenced him to life imprisonment. Babar then approached the High Court in order to get his grievance redressed and after a duration of 10 years, the High Court decided that Babar was wrongly implicated into the matter. Our judges took around 10 years to decide that barking of a dog is an insubstantial evidence to prove that someone is guilty. The man who has been exonerated now had to face so many problems and difficulties and moreover he has lost his irreversible 10 years of life which are priceless. The 10 years of life in which he had to be in jail for no fault, the 10 years for which he could not give to his children, the 10 years in which his children and family had to bear so many hardships. There have been numerous of incidents like this before too. A young boy had to gave away his 7-8 years for a pickpocketing which he had never done. Is not it execrable? I believe it is.
There is a backlog of 30 million cases in India. Even if no new cases are filed, it will take about 350 years to dispose of them all. If a common man gets cheated or assaulted or murdered his family will have to move heaven and earth to get justice which will ultimately be denied to them. With respect to the population on India, the ration of judges to people is 10.5: 10, 00000 which is no doubt the poorest in the world.

Even cases which cannot be filed take around a minimum of 5 years to be settled in lower courts. Government asks people to get their grievances to court, but due to such procrastinations shown by the judges, people even don’t want to hear the word “COURTS”. This is the true fact of India, a great nation, where people today have to waste their whole life for crimes they had never done. This is something which still shows that India has to move a lot and in these 67 years of independence our judiciary has learnt only a bit.

Think over it. Think over it.

May God Bless You.
May God Bless India,
