Just behind you.

Nowadays one of the most alarming topics in the whole world is “GLOBAL WARMING”. The thing that has been vexing all the scientists as well as the concerned denizens of the world. The whole world has been unhappy about what is happening. Global warming has been soaring day by day and everyone knows this thing but what is really “Global Warming”.

Global warming is the hike in global temperature since the late 19th century.  The effects of global temperature are being exhibited all over the world. Various features like amount of precipitation, sea level etc. have been influenced by the variation is temperature patters all over the world. Warming is expected to be strongest in the Arctic and would be associated with the continuing retreat of glaciers and sea ice.

The temperature of Earth has been continuously incrementing due to various factors like Solar Luminosity, volcanic eruptions, variation in Earth orbit around the Sun. These factors are called external forcings which continuously play a significant role in raising the temperature.

The next thing is Greenhouse effects. Greenhouse effects, proposed by Joseph Fourier in 1824, is the absorption of infrared radiation and heat by gases present in the atmosphere. Naturally occurring amounts of greenhouse gases have a mean warming effect of about 33 °C (59 °F). The major greenhouse gases are water vapor, which causes about 36–70% of the greenhouse effect; carbon dioxide (CO2), which causes 9–26%; methane (CH4), which causes 4–9%; and ozone (O3), which causes 3–7%. Clouds also affect the radiation balance through cloud forcings similar to greenhouse gases.

Human activity since the Industrial Revolution has increased the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, leading to increased radiative forcing from CO2, methane, tropospheric ozone, CFCs and nitrous oxide. The concentrations of CO2 and methane have increased by 36% and 148% respectively since 1750. These levels are much higher than at any time during the last 800,000 years. Fossil fuel burning has produced about three-quarters of the increase in CO2 from human activity over the past 20 years. The rest of this increase is caused mostly by changes in land-use, particularly deforestation. Due to various unethical activities of mankind like non-judicious burning of our fossil fuels, deforestation for commercial vegetations etc. we are watching such increased levels of Global Warming. The burning of fuels and natural things like volcanic eruptions result in huge emission of heat and other gases which are trapped by the earth’s atmosphere and results in the increased temperature. NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) and the National Climatic Data Center show that 2005 and 2010 tied for the planet's warmest year since reliable due to huge emission rates and humongous cutting of trees. Due to huge deforestation the amount of CO2, a major greenhouse gas has increased which also plays huge role behind the global warming.

EFFECTS OF GLOBAL WARMING

Excess of everything is bad and that’s why now human beings are also bearing the burden of such carelessness towards the nature.

Due to heating of earth, the mankind has to bear the brunt of. Some effects of global warming are here:-

1.      Melting of glaciers: Due to the heating of earth our glaciers which give birth to rivers all around the world are melting at a rate faster than ever. Such a rapid melting of glaciers results in changed global river patterns. Due to such sharp melting there has been an immense increase in the amount of waters in oceans and rivers which results in disasters like tsunami and floods, causing huge damages to the mankind.

2.      Changed ecological system: Due to global warming, the weather pattern, precipitation pattern all over the globe has changed, causing huge difficulties to mankind as well as animals, plants etc. Plants as well as animals like are not able to acclimatize themselves according to the changed patterns resulting in huge animal losses. For example Migratory birds are not getting suitable climate for their birth which is conducive to huge loss of them.

3.      Food security: Future warming of around 3 °C (by 2100, relative to 1990–2000) could result in increased crop yields in mid- and high-latitude areas, but in low-latitude areas, yields could decline, increasing the risk of malnutrition. A similar regional pattern of net benefits and costs could occur for economic (market-sector) effects. Warming above 3 °C could result in crop yields falling in temperate regions, leading to a reduction in global food production. According to a recent study, due to this phenomenon India could see a drop in crop production of 30%-40% till 2100.

4.      Natural Calamities: The retreat of glaciers and ice caps can cause increased volcanism. Reduction in ice cover reduces the confining pressure exerted on the volcano, increasing deviatoric stresses and potentially causing the volcano to erupt. This reduction of pressure can also cause decompression melting of material in the mantle, resulting in the generation of more magma. Earthquakes can also be causes due to huge unloading of glaciers from mountains etc.

5.      Acidification: About one-third of the CO2 emitted by human being has been taken up by oceans. The Carbon Dioxide dissolves in ocean leading to acidification of oceans.

Curbing global warming

Reduce Fossil Fuel Use

Burning fossil fuels increases the levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. There are two ways to reduce fossil fuel use: Use less energy, or use alternative, nonpolluting energy sources like solar and wind power.  At home, this translates to saving electricity by using energy-efficient appliances and compact fluorescent light bulbs, as well as reducing gasoline use and buying green power from your electricity provider, if available.

Plant Trees

Because carbon dioxide is the most important greenhouse gas, planting trees and other plants can slow or stop global warming. Plants take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen. They use carbon to build their own tissues and return some of it to the soil in a process called sequestration. Deforestation of rain forests is a large contributor to global warming and CO2 emissions, but planting new trees, even in your own backyard, can help to offset this.

Reduce Waste

The production of garbage contributes to global warming both directly and indirectly. Decomposing waste in landfills produces methane and other greenhouse gases. Waste also requires energy to manufacture in the first place. Reducing your consumption patterns and reusing items whenever possible minimizes your carbon footprint, since fewer new items need to be made. Recycling metal, plastic, glass and paper lowers greenhouse gas emissions, since recycled items take far less energy to manufacture than items produced from scratch.

Conserve Water

Cities consume significant amounts of energy when purifying and distributing water, which contributes to greenhouse gas emissions. Saving water reduces the amount of energy used. At home, turn off water immediately whenever you're not using it, and repair or replace leaky faucets and toilets.

Dereliction of Duty.

Nowadays the hot topics in Indian new are Rahul Gandhi and Narender Modi. Every party is busy trying to facilitate things for itself in 2014 election. Every major party is busy counting the mistakes and blunders committed by other parties. Everyone is busy making preparations to win the elections.
Everyone is having clear dreams in their eyes of forming their own government.
But in my perspective there is a problem. The government of India is not heeding to the common people of the country. The people in the country are not getting proper attention. People of India are not being paid attention.
People who have been vested with power are not listening to the vowes of the country. Those who have a need to do something for the nation are not listening to the people. Why are these people not doing anything. In India the politics nowadays, the power nowadays is not of the country but of the party. People say that I am from BJP side and I am from INC, but does any politician heartily says that I am an Indian. Every person is quick to condemn people of other parties, but I want to know who is ready to do things for the country.
On one side, someone comes and beheads your soldier and on the other side despite of being unite you are arguing with each other and everyone tries to politicize such sensitive matters. If people who are representatives of people of India are not united, then how can you people unite the whole nation. Someone comes and tries to provoke the sentiments of people and incite them by saying wrong things and inspite of punishing him you try to gain advantage for election.
This is disgusting. You people want votes, but you are not doing what you are supposed to do. If you are not even doing anything for the country, then how can you gain votes.
All the people in power must think over this issue.

A great one

Act judiciously

Nowadays divisive things, leading to pandemonium and turmoil are taking place in India politics. Although the Indian politics is a very tumultuous and precarious but nowadays the gauge of unexpected activities in Indian politics is exhibiting a huge and outright increment.
The coronation of Rahul Gandhi as the INC Vice President and the resignation of Nitin Gadkari from the post of President of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) national unit. But if we watch all these things all these were pre-meditated. Lets see how.
First Sushil Kumar Shinde, in a reprehensible statement proclaimed that BJP and RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) are pampering and nurturing "saffron terrorism" in their camps. He said that they are promoting hindutva terrorism in their training camps. On one side Congress says that terrorism bears no religion and on the other side they are talking about the Saffron terrorism. And the other thing is while Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde was saying all these things he stopped himself from saying the word "Muslim" and said "Mus" before saying minority. This was not an accidental blunder but was an intentional one. Congress wanted to take advantages over muslim by saying such things and as we all know that the INC can't fill all the holes it made and to carry away the concentration and attention of people from all other things like inflation, corruption etc.
Congress knew that this issue can become a very big one so on the same day Rahul Gandhi gave his first speech as the Vice President of INC. Although the Central Government is of Congress but the government did not gave any proof of it and executed it plan carefully.
The other thing Perception is the rule of politics. To tarnish the image of Nitin Gadkari INC accused him of scams in Purti Power Ltd.. Although the matter has not be decided completely but Congress maligned the image of Nitin Gadkari, projecting him as a tainted person, forcing him to resign from the post of BJP President unit. This all was the game of Congress which caused all these turmoils.

Hope that BJP will act judiciously.

Future in his hand

A new innings has been commenced by Mr. Barack Obama at the White house. Mr. President has taken the oath second time and has now become the official president of the United States of America(USA). Now, he has officially become the strongest person on the planet.
Now the USA's future is in the hands of Mr. Obama. The thing to be seen is whether Mr. Obama is going to help the America grow by leaps and bounds or is USA going to fall in the ditch of loss and detriment.
In the first term Mr. President spent most his stint in the White House in filling up the holes that the former President Mr. George Walker Bush, had to bear the burnt of Iraq fiasco and Afghan Problems. But still the work of Mr. President is praiseworthy. His three laudable works comprise of his Healthcare plan, stabilising the economy and slaying down of the mastermind of 9/11 attacks on USA Osama Bin Laden. The best work he did was stabilizing the precarious economy of the United States. Mr. President controlled the economy of America which has been degrading for a long time.
American President gave a long time with Afghanistan dealing with the soldiers issue and after that had to look on the possibility of a nuclear Iran. Following that Mr. Obama also played a major role in dealing with the Arab Spring and also launched a full-fledged programme in Arab Spring nations.
Mr. President has also to deal with Beijing issue. Demeaning relations with China can be bad while having good relations with India could be very helpful and wonderful and India is a promising nation progressing towards becoming a developed nation.

Best of luck to Mr. Obama.

Its time to judge him.

Nowadays political turmoils are prevalent all over the country. The politics in India has now become totally uncertain. There have been speculations about who is going to take the 2014 election cup are there but the result seems vague. Concerned denizens of India are uncertain who is going to be their leader.
After the crowning of Rahul Gandhi as the Vice President of Indian National Congress(INC) there has been confusion all around. Yesterday Rahul Gandhi gave his first speech as the Vice President of INC in the Jaipur Congress CHINTIN SHIVIR and made everyone emotional by telling people about his personal feeling and bonding with his grandmother Indira Gandhi and his father Rajiv Gandhi. Rahul told that he used to play badminton with the people who assasinated his grandmother. He said that he used to play badminton in order to learn how to balance in life but the two killers of his grandmother took away balance from his life and then came to what his mother said. He said that," last night his mother came to his room and started crying. She started crying because she understands that power is a poison and gave a message to Rahul to use the power to empower." These line made everyone sitting in the hall emotional and mawkish.
Now lets come to the point. The speech made by Rahul Gandhi was good. But was it able to impress people of India? Rahul has to show it by helping people. By just saying that my life is there for people is not enough. When anythings happens he doesn't come ahead in the public and never answers public question and that's why the youth also don't consider him a charismatic politician. There are many challenges ahead and Rahul has to proved whether he is like his father and grandmother or is he like any other ordinary person. Can he inspire the people of India? Can he again fill that courage in India? Indians nowadays are facing a lot of problem like inflation, corruption etc. so is Rahul Gandhi going to emerge out to solve these issues or is he going to do the same things that he used to do before, not addressing the nation on anything. People of Indian have to look at it and should judge him on his ability and strength not on any other thing.
Lets see what happens.

Can he do it?

Rahul Gandhi has become the Congress Vice-President
Congress party has again become dynasty bent.
From Jawahar Lal Nehru the dynasty has been going on,
And Congress is warning others that Rahul Gandhi is not a moron,
Is Rahul Gandhi going to be maun (silent)
Or is he going to be a congress boon.
Many questions are there,
But is Rahul Gandhi going to stand here?
Is Rahul going to have his dynasty maintain,
Is he going to obliterate all congress's bane.
Can Congress improve,
Can Rahul Gandhi get himself proved.
There are a lot of queries in front of him,
His opponents are filled upto the brim.
Is Rahul going to do something different
Or is he going to bend.

The time will tell
Is Rahul going to ring Congress bell.

All is well

A charismatic person.

Narender Modi is a charismatic leader,
And a confidence breeder.
He is the one who deserves to win,
The one who has never in his political life committed a sin.
He is a game changer
His opponents and antagonists stupidly dub him a war-monger.
He is a liberal one
His opponents are regularly shunned.
The whole world lauds him as a great leader,
He is a real victory seeker.
His opponents want his image to be marred,
His obstacles are always annihilated and barred.
He always thinks how to do public welfare,
Also thinks how to do people's care.
The one acknowledged as a great leader by foreign
It's a caveat for his opponents that he is not a moron.

Lets see what happens.

Nowadays Indian National Congress (INC) has been conducting various programs in order to devise its strategy, layout of 2014 election and plan to sabotage the attempts and planning of other parties and again get a clear cut conquest in the upcoming elections. The congress has been plotting its way in 2014 elections and has been introducing many reforms at the last time. Congress has been conducting various "Chintan Shivirs" in which how to woo people, which plan should be rolled out, what reforms should be done in the country and the most important thing is how to galvanize support from people's side.
Congress is nowadays being denominated as a corrupt party and many other agendas have to be dealt with. At the Jaipur Chintan Shivir UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi confronts three problems but is she having remedies for the queries.
For a very long time this topic is one of the most precious, vitality and this topic is gaining momentum day by day. The topic in the news is Who is going to be the Prime Minister of India? All the political parties in India (especially BJP and INC) are trying to pick out their prime ministerial candidate. From the BJP side there have been speculations that Mr. Narender Modi can be the next prime ministerial candidate, which could also be a wonderful thing for the whole country. But who from INC?  Sonia Gandhi is having the solution for the problem. The answer is Rahul Gandhi will become the Prime Minister if the INC conquers a majority in the parliament, as Sonia Gandhi doesn't want to slander his son's image due to coalitions. Congress is contemporarily bearing the bruises of the assaults being carried out by the UPA coalition parties and is doing many things forcibly due to them. So Sonia Gandhi is definitely not wanting his son to be under pressure and tolerate burden and is INC doesn't get a clear majority then, Congress is going to appoint some else just like Manmohan Singh, the current Prime Minister of India as he is going to be 82 in 2014 and in my perspective will not be able to look after such an enormous country. And for this she is expected to choose one of her big leaders from the party's high command like P.Chidambaram, A.K. Antony, Salma Khurshid
The other problem is taking Congress party to grass root levels in order to make it a reliable party in front of people of India. In this problem both the parties (BJP and INC) are stuck. Shibu Soren and B.S. Yeddyrappa has made the party lost much of its crucial votes in states like Jharkhand and Karnataka and Sonia Gandhi is also facing the same problems. Lack of any charismatic orator and leader is the problem in the case of Indian National Congress.
The third problem is public's perspective about Congress. Congress has been deemed as a corrupt party due to various things that took place in its this term. CWG scan, 2G scam and many other scams by Congress leaders made people mull over voting the Congress party. People are now considering Congress as a corruption replenished party which is a very major problem and for this Sonia Gandhi is not having any answer for this problem.
Now we have to see, whether Sonia Gandhi can mend the country like Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru and Smt. Indira Gandhi. Is she having enough potential to be like them? The third problem is a very big one and  will decide Congress's fate in 2014 elections.
Lets see what happens.
