TO BE OR NOT TO BE.

Most of us are in the habit of taking too much tension about the things going on around us. Many a times, the truth is pellucid in front of us all that we just can’t do anything in order to change what’s going to happen but we still continue to nag too much about the situation that we actually let go of things which we can change. There are a lot of grave situations when we are just in flurry to gather up as much tension as we can notwithstanding being completely aware of the fact that nothing can be done in order to make the things recuperate. Whenever you face anything like this, despite of your human proclivity to be a hypocrite of being under stress, just stop for a moment. Take a look around yourself and ask yourself why are you taking so much stress on things you can never change.

In life there are two types of stresses that one must never take. One of repentance, and the other of complete inability to effect any change in order to ameliorate the situation.

The first one being like, initially choosing the wrong path deliberately and then regretting for the same. Most of the people around are in the habit of crying throughout the day on the penultimate day of the exam. They wasted the whole year doing almost nothing and now they are repenting. Despite of choosing the path that you wanted, you are not happy and indeed are busy shedding tears for things which are almost irreversible now. Now at that moment, despite of feeling bad, guilty and trying to atone for your mistakes by crying; wait for a moment, tell yourself the whole situation and find a better way to evade any such situation in the future. Tell yourself that this too shall pass because no event in life can actually define your whole life. Many ups and downs may come but life goes on. If you think you will fumble in the upcoming test and this would be the end of life, just ask yourself one thing; would you be crying for the same test even after a decade or twenty years. Nobody is going to remember anything about you, people have a very short memory. The day you do something great, the world would automatically forget all the mistakes that you did. The day you become a millionaire, your story of failing the test would be the most popular inspirational story round the world and rather than being a shame for you, it will add glory to your success. But to make all such things happen, you have to actually become a millionaire (successful person) and to do that rather than crying over the tests, relationship etc. that you fail in life, move ahead and learn from them. Crying over them will never take you anywhere, but learning from them can save you from falling down in the same pit again and hence no use of crying, just move ahead, life is too great to cry over pity faults.

The next type of pain is something that’s more difficult to endure than the first one. In some situation, you just can’t do anything. You know that so many things are happening in front of you but you just can’t do anything either because of your circumstances, current situation or whatever the reason may be. Whenever you are in such a situation, stop being tensed. Because once you become acclimatized to taking relentless tension over such topics, life would become too much complicated and you would lose out on things which you are capable of changing. I know it’s hard telling yourself to just curb pondering over a particular topic, but just console yourself, tell yourself that you can’t do anything because some things are going to happen the way they are destined to. For example, there are some people we love and there are some other which we don’t. We have no specific reason of giving preference to a few people over others; that’s destiny. There are even some people whom you loathe for no reason and that’s the fault in your stars.  So abandon some things for destiny. Train your mind to stop thinking about it and rather focus your power on things you can change. The rest lies on you. Whether you want to focus your attention on positive things or you want to just blubber and cry over things you can’t change or whether you want to invest the precious jewel of time in things which you can; it all rests on your shoulders.
STAY HUNGRY, STAY FOOLISH.
