India going international...

Recently the whole nation got a new, respectable, intelligent and tough Prime Minister who is neither threatened by the allies nor by scams and this is what the whole nation has been craving for several decades and now when the nation has got its leader indeed, then good days are going to knock the door of India Inc. inevitably.

Recently at the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, heads of various nations were called up to join the ceremony. Mr. Modi killed two birds with one stone in this process. By calling them to the nation, Mr. Modi has given a cue to the whole world that Mr. Modi is going to snatch away good international ties and relationship with the neighbours as well as other countries. After the swearing in ceremony Mr. Modi also discussed many matters with different heads of states. A much awaited moment came when Mr. Modi talked with the Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif on how both the nations can tackle the cross border terrorism and also talked with Pakistan on the 26/11 trials of the culprits, on the other hand talked with the President of Sri Lanka on the safety of Lankans, which is a hot topic between the two nation and afterwards Mr. Modi talked with other international guests on strengthening ties with them in the long run.

India framed a very bad image in front of these countries during the UPA’s stint as the government. India got itself a ‘dominating big brother image” with these countries and its reluctance to tackle Chinese and Pakistani issues made the world think that India is incapable to solving these cross-border issues and hence is inefficient but now the time has come when we need to vanish out such thoughts about the nation. UPA government lacked any good foreign policy and therefore ties with these nations were very much severed but as Modi government has shown some promising signs with a good agenda, much has been expected from the new government.

First of all the Pakistani issue needs to be tackled. Infiltration of terrorism through the borders of Pakistan has been a menacing issue for India. Almost all of the terrorist attacks in India have been carried out by masterminds residing in the safe terrorist heavens of Pakistan and now India needs to take serious action against them. The recent meeting between the Prime Ministers of the nation is in itself a success as Pakistan has given a friendly reaction to Mr. Modi’s invite by releasing out fishermen of India who were in the jails of Pakistan and this in itself is a victory for the nation as on the first day of Mr. Modi’s taking of office, India brought so many sons of India back to its soil. Similarly some other situations need to be tackled. India should first of all talk about the security of Indian prisoners in the Pakistani jails and some harsh issues like the decapitation of its soldiers through the hands of Pakistani soldiers. Next comes the most crucial thing that needs to discussed. India should maintain a tough stand against the Pakistani terrorism. In Pakistan nothing can take place sans the consent of army. Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif has to take the permission of army before coming to India to attend the swearing in ceremony of Mr. Modi and keeping in mind this thing, India should directly talk to the army of the two countries without wasting any time. The government should maintain relations with the government of Pakistan but should be more specific with the army and this can definitely carve out a way for India to proceed ahead.

The next issue that needs to be tackled is the Lankan issue. India now needs to talk to Sri Lankan government to safeguard the Indian Tamils in Lanka and this could definitely help. Despite of creating a logjam between the two nation and working on the political policy of Southern political parties India should bury the dead and talk about strengthening the relations. The arrival of President of Sri Lanka is a good sign in itself with the release of Indian fishermen by the Lankan forces. Acknowledging all these things, India should try to break the silence and try to make the relationship between the two nations successful so that both the nations could progress further. One more thing to keep in mind is that Sri Lanka is very much closer to India in terms of geographical boundaries and many nations like China are vying to struck a good relationship with Sri Lanka to exploit the nation and to advance further towards India and if India doesn’t ponder over this issue then it can be made to face a huge loss which would be very despicable for the whole nation and now the government should there mull over sweetening the ties between the two nations.

Next important ally to be dealt with is Afghanistan. Contemporarily Afghanistan is a hotspot of political discussions around the whole world. Nations like China and Pakistan are poised to exert influence over Afghanistan after the roll back of the western forces from the region. Many terrorist groups are also ready to take over the land of Afghanistan after the retraction of the military forces of USA, UK, France etc. and definitely this could not be considered safe for the nation and therefore now the Indian government first of all needs to apprehend the whole situation of Afghanistan and mend out ways in which it can tackle the upcoming disaster and to strengthen ties with the Afghan government. Both the nations can play a huge role in helping each other and I expect that the new government will definitely look forward as grabbing a harmonious relationship between the two nations.

Now as the new government has set its foot, the time has come when it needs to think over both national and international issues and I believe that the new Prime Minister is capable of doing it.

SAFEGUARDING ENVIRONMENT BY DISASTER RISK REDUCTION

“SAFEGUARDING ENVIRONMENT BY DISASTER RISK REDUCTION”

“We won’t have a society if we destroy the environment” quoted Margaret Mead. Environment is undoubtedly the most beautiful and resplendent creation of God which has from the very commencement of life, nurtured the whole humanity without any selfishness or personal gain. Sans environment we can’t even fancy a situation without our mother environment, the mother which has never demanded anything from us, the mother which without any vested interest made us have all the beauties of life that anyone can dream of. The mother who has made us experience the scenery of Himalaya to the greenery of Amazon, the height of Mount Everest to low of Marina Trench.
But it’s very much heartrending that the cruel mankind didn’t even restrain him even for the sake of his adorable mother. The mother which never asked for anything has been left with nothing. We humans, have become so much replete with cupidity that we just went on to devastate and annihilate the heart of the mother Environment. We the humans just for to sake of convenience made our mother earth cry by destroying its beautiful treasure, its pleasantness.
When our Mother Earth gave us this wonderful life and blessed us with mankind, she knew that a day will come when we would need to change, change not just for change’s sake but change to endure the demands of mankind, change to halt the avarice of humanity, she knew that to survive ourselves we would need to bring about a radical change and today the time has come when we need to implement that life-saving change and therefore today to safeguard the environment we need to change.
On 14th of June, the whole world witnessed a huge disaster and unfortunately our country was the victim of the same. When the clouds busted over the city of Gods, Uttarakhand and rain tore off the whole of Kedarnath leaving around 10,000 people dead and thousands of homes, sentiments and life shattered into pieces. The whole Uttarakhand disaster was a cue to the humanity to learn from its mistakes and heed to the mistakes made by it and today therefore we need to mend our ways.
A great soul once proclaimed,
“When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the universe.”
The same condition applies to the nature also. Let’s for instance cite Uttarakhand Disaster. According to Maharaj Pandit, professor with the Department of Environmental Sciences in Delhi University, “the valleys of Yamuna, the Ganga and the Alaknanda, witness heavy traffic of tourists. For this, the government has to construct new roads and widen the existing ones and this ultimately leads to destabilization of the mountains resulting in complete destruction”. Dams in the area, over the Ganga River have also played a significant role in exacerbating the severity of the condition and finally all this arrived just due to the lust of mankind like some wider roads, more electricity through dams etc. and finally at last the whole world saw its worst nightmare, the Uttarakhand Disaster.
From 1970 to 2012 around 8835 weather, climate and hydrological hazards have been reported globally. Together they caused the loss of around 1.94 million causing economic damages worth US $2.4 Trillion dollars.

Today in order to save the environment we need the tamper the way we perceive the whole situation. Today to safeguard the environment we need to effect some disaster risk reduction planning to safeguard the environment. Many techniques can be used to spearhead the attack against disasters. Many disasters like landslide, volcano eruptions, floods, tsunami etc. can be curbed up to a large extent if we use some simple techniques.
Three simple techniques can be implemented in the system in order to reduce the risk caused by the disaster. It consists of around three phases.

1.    Disaster Precaution
2.    Disaster Response
3.    Rehabilitation and Recovery.

“Prevention is better than cure”
The priority area on disaster prevention must be disaster prevention. Disaster prevention is the most important area to be focussed on. To prevent the disaster we need to enforce some strategies. These strategies include

1.       Sustainable development = “We have not inherited this nature from our fathers but we have borrowed it from our children”. Sustainable development means development taking in accordance the future of coming generations and this is what we need to do today. If we enforce sustainable development like using less fuel and energy efficient methods to consume less energy, we can limit the consumption of fossil fuels like coal leading to less mining, less pollution and less environmental degradation. This can be used in other sectors also in order to safeguard the environment.
2.       Better construction techniques- Better construct techniques can be used to minimise the harm to the environment. For e.g. one of the most important cause behind the happening of the Uttarakhand Disaster was due to illegitimate widening of roads and making of new roads but if we promulgate better construction facilities taking in mind the environment, then we would be able to stop the environment hazards. We can learn this very well from Japan. People of Japan have well acclimatised themselves to protect themselves from disasters like earthquake, volcanic eruption etc. to minimize the damage in the nation and we can also implement it in India to reduce the impact of disasters.
3.       Awareness Programs- Many awareness programs can be used in order to prepare people for disaster preparedness. Many programs like street plays, school activities can be used to edify people on how to safeguard themselves at the time of disaster.

Second phase of the strategy includes disaster response. Disasters should be tackled with a proactive and agile approach in order to tackle the impact of disaster. This phase include proper rescue of the people, providing immediate assistance and the immediate restoration of infrastructure. The main aim behind the good response is to support the affected people with better techniques. Many techniques can be used in order to salvage people from the disaster. Assistance can range from providing specific help to the affected people, like shifting them to safe regions from disaster prone areas, semi-permanent camps for the residence of the affected population and also medical facility in order to help the people. Rescuing operation teams should be made for tackling the problems. Special rescue teams should be designated and trained in order to rescue to people out of debris etc. and to reduce the loss of life.

Next comes the third phase. The third phase includes rehabilitation and recovery from disaster. Rehabilitation is a very important phase that needs to be kept in mind. It’s the duty of the government as well as other authorities to rehabilitate the people who have been affected by the disaster. Nowadays the functioning in the rehabilitation system has been very dismal and unappreciable but now something needs to be done in this issue. Many people who are victimised by the disasters are not rehabilitated due to red tapes in the whole system. Post disaster rehabilitation and recovery techniques need to be geared up in order to provide better recovery to the people affected. Various programs like setting up houses for the affected population, community managed drinking water supply for the whole affected population, education centres etc. with other supplies should be given to the people affected in order to assist them and increase their morale.

If we implement all the three phases of disaster reduction properly, then we people would surely be able to limit the impact of disasters to a great extent and also prevent the loss of life and property.
Today we need to change our mind set on how we perceive the disaster, we can definitely limit their impact to a great extent for our mother earth while keeping in mind the words of Mahatma Gandhi :

“What we are doing to the forests of the world is but a mirror reflection of what we are doing to ourselves and to one another”

Why Modi won?

What a euphoric and mesmerising win Narendra Modi has registered! NDA crossed the 300 bar to get 333 and BJP itself got tremendous success in transcending 272+ bar annihilating all other parties like INC (Indian National Congress), BSP (Bahujan Samaj Party) etc. in their own heartland and this undoubtedly is a slap on the face of those who tried to discredit Narendra Modi as he has just made a miracle by making BJP get a clear majority and has convinced the nation to vote for a majority government after a long period of 30 years.

It’s not a hidden fact that Narendra Modi truly acquires a charisma in him as it’s not an easy task to get the whole nation vote for a single person and this he has proved now. Coming from such a pauper family and then becoming the most powerful person in the whole nation definitely requires a lot of dexterity and deftness which is there in Narendra Modi and now it requires no proof. His great sense of ruling has also made his stand out of the line of other politicians. His revolutionary work in Gujarat and his progressive track record has proved that this man truly has the power to rule the whole nation too.
Today the resplendent victory that Narendra Modi registered is a great victory and therefore needs to be analysed very much deeply and this is what we are going to do in this blog.

You can very well say that the whole victory is crafted by Narendra Modi. Narendra Modi commenced his planning for the election much before the 13th September 2013 when he was chosen the Prime Ministerial Candidate of BJP. In fact his journey as the Prime Minister candidate started when he was made the Chief Minister of Gujarat for the first time. Narendra Modi has never fought any election before and was made the Chief Minister of such an important state and amusing at times when it was completely wrecked by a natural disaster. Now you can very well image his lobbying and influencing power.

The second thing is about his managing power. Even Narendra Modi’s antagonists concede that he is having a tremendous selling and managing power. Narendra Modi became famous in the BJP also because he was able to manage this meticulously and he also played a great role in managing the Rath yatra of Lal Krishna Advani. His selling power is also great. If you want to learn how to sell an idea to people, then you should learn all this from Narendra Modi. Even Rahul Gandhi admitted that Narendra Modi holds the power to sell combs to bald people and if Rahul Gandhi, Modi’s biggest rival, can admit it then who we are to deny the fact.

Narendra Modi has also proved the above mentioned things now also are truly remarkable. The way he sold the Gujarat Model to the whole nation proves his mettle. People who say that Gujarat model is great might not be knowing what exactly Gujarat model is (although Gujarat Model is truly a significantly wonderful model of development), but still they are so much convinced that Gujarat Model is better than any other model by any other progress model of any other state in the whole world.
Then come Narendra Modi’s rallies. The way Narendra Modi exploits the technology to make optimum use of time as well as his popularity is truly great. This time Modi is known to have covered around 437 rallies, 5827 events and has covered around 3 lakh kilometres covering around 26 states of the whole nation and this definitely requires a lot of hard work. Narendra Modi is definitely a dynamic personality and his various programs truly made the best use of technology. His 3D Holograms rallies, Bharat Vijaya Rallies, Chai Pe Charcha and other programs through satellite, internet and mobile including his slogans like “Abki Bar Modi Sarkar” which emphasized his dedication towards his work and working on even minute details translated into a great victory today.

The last point (although Modi has innumerable attributes in himself) that I would like to mention here is Mr Modi’s visionary powers. He is truly a visionary person. Back in 2002 he had a vision to provide electricity to the whole of Gujarat and he made this happen. He had a vision about make Gujarat, a manufacturing hub and today every big company of India has one of their biggest manufacturing plants in Gujarat. He also grasped the power of social media much early than others politicians. He joined social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter much before other politicians and after so many years all these things combined to give him such a terrific victory.

But the most important factor that made his won this election was the time factor. It’s just like the whole world wanted to make his the Prime Minister of the nation. The congress government faced all its disaster at this time only, he got such weak rivals (Manmohan Singh and Rahul Gandhi) at this time only, all the scams of UPA were unearthed during this time only and all this resulted into a landslide victory of Narendra Modi.

Narendra Modi has truly proved that if you love something truly then the whole world would try to make sure that you get that thing and therefore I say that Modi is the best.

The nasty game of politics

Before the conclusion of the voting process of India’s one of the biggest elections i.e. the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, every big party in the Lok Sabha Election was asserting that it was going to form a stable government at the center and is going to easily cross the 272+ bar but as the electioneering process approached every party came to know the limits which it couldn’t transcend and by the 12 of May, it was actually confirmed by all the parties that Mr. Narendra Modi is going to register his name in the history as the 14th Prime Minister of India. Various parties signalled this message in their own way. Congress reluctantly and also wrongly said that “unsecular” forces are going to shroud the nation while some other parties signalled their defeat by reticence.
But now as the result is going to be declared tomorrow, all the parties opposing NDA have convulsed to action in order to stop the tough man to take the reign of India because if Mr. Modi comes to power then the whole nation will turn to a new leaf of life and will start progressing by leaps and bounds which these nasty people don’t want. So, to halt the coronation of Mr. Modi as the Prime Minister of India, various other parties have started carving out new calculations in order to restrain Mr. Modi. And that’s the main reason, why most of the people who were once saying that Mr. Modi can’t do anything and will continue to be the Chief Minister of Gujarat have started playing the dirty tricks of again dividing the nation. This is the main reason why those who assured that Modi will never be the Prime Minister of the nation have started asking for the collaboration of secular parties. And the party which is spearheading this so called group of “seculars” is Indian National Congress. The party which was never ready to accept any other person as the Prime Minister of India has started asking the secular parties to come forward and form and secular block which could be headed by Mamata Banerjee. Is not that amusing that Congress is ready to make Mamata Banerjee the next Prime Minister of India? That’s truly something ridiculous.

But the main reason on which we need to be focus today is why suddenly Congress showed such a digression from its main agenda which was to make Rahul Gandhi, the next Prime Minister of India.

The main reason behind enticing Mamata Banerjee as the new Prime Minister is to make Rahul Gandhi the next Prime Minister. Presently all the parties opposing the NDA rule are in great distress and the party facing the most severe problem in Indian Nation Congress because if a Modi government comes to power, then enquiries will be set up on different scams which will lead to unearthing of various scams done by other ministers during the reign of UPA-II and the second reason is that if Modi become the Prime Minister then he is sure to get around two terms as the Prime Minister  of the nation and this will lead to complete ruining of the career of Rahul Gandhi. So, fearing the aforementioned consequences, Congress resorted to safeguard Rahull Gandhi by enticing leaders from various others parties to form the government so as to prevent Mr. Narender Modi from entering the 7 Race Couse and also because these parties will continue to fight with each other and the Congress will then make sure that it topples the government.

Then Mr. Modi will not get another chance to be the Prime Ministerial Candidate from BJP and afterwards Rahul Gandhi will come forward to be named the new Prime Minister of India.

But as far as I am concerned I consider such things as mere dirty politics in order to stop the nation’s progress. If we go according to the mandate (although it has not arrived yet) then we would find that the whole nation has chosen Mr. Narender Modi as the most favourite person to guide the nation so who has given these parties the right to topple his government or to stop him from becoming the Prime Minister. If these parties continue to play such dirty politics then the whole nation will continue to observe unstable government leading to less development and investments from other countries also and if we want to stop such things from taking place then definitely we need to stop such parties from taking these ludicrous steps or we will definitely be at a huge loss.

Why Narendra Modi is a necessity?

When the nation became independent to run and maintain itself, it found two doors open in front of it. One was of entering the room of dictatorship and have a good economic growth and the other was to cuddle the religion of freedom, i.e. democracy, with somewhat lesser economic growth than the previous option.
The nation undoubtedly chose to be sworn in as a democratic republic. People of the nation opted for a lucid future replete of freedom, justice and equality. They were resolute to loathe any type of disparity and to extol the beauty as well as essence of every religion. They were pretty sure that they could live with somewhat slow economic growth but were determined that they couldn’t live sans the right to equality, freedom and speech. People of the nation wanted a secure environment where they were free to choose their leaders or to become one, where they have every right to protest against any type of oppression. And even today we Indians continue to stand with the same beliefs and mind set and that’s why we still continue to be the world’s largest democracy. This time around 814.5 million people are casting vote for their future and this is the largest electoral population any nation has observed till now.
But what’s more crucial this time is mulling over the main question that this election poses in front of us. The question is – Which party among the different alternatives will be deft at sustaining the current fervour of democracy in the world’s most populated nation.
The alternatives in front of us are crystal clear this time. One side is of the Congress and allies while the other is of BJP alone. Ambiguities like Third Front and others are nothing but only a subset of Indian National Congress which on the other hand BJP is alone contesting purely on the Modi Wave.
As I mentioned earlier that the main question that shrouds the whole nation is that who would be the apt choice to take the tradition of democracy further and the answer according to me is none other than Narendra Modi.
I have many reasons to safeguard my own opinion. Some of these are here:
The first reason why I believe that Narendra Modi would be the most suited person to handle the tougher job is because of his humble origins. Narendra Modi hails from a very impoverished family and worked as a tea vendor during his childhood and today if he is at such a great platform just because of the principle of democracy that exists in the nation. If there would have been any other form of government but democracy it would have been next to impossible for Mr. Modi to reach upto such a great level from such a pauper condition.
The second reason is Modi’s way of politics. Modi is an aberration in today’s politics and has a very clear style of playing the tough game of politics. Unlike others who base their politics on the basis of vote bank politics, Modi works on the phenomena of development and this is why he is best. Even if we listen to his speech, words like caste, religion etc. have no place and things like maximum governance and development and this is why Modi is a better alternative. While other ask for votes just because they are from a particular caste or because they would do favour to a particular caste, Modi is completely different from such politicos and is truly based on development.
One more argument that I would like to submit to strengthen my case is the developmental work, welfare scheme and freedom that the whole Gujarat has experience under his stint as the Chief Minister of the state. Under Modi’s rule the state of Gujarat has not experienced any riot for over twelve years. The state where curfews, military deployment etc. was a common thing has not undergone any communal fury for such a large period of time. This is truly amazing and resplendent. The other thing is of development. Today the developmental work which is being carried out in Gujarat is laudable and the pace at which the whole Gujarat is undergoing through the progress is appreciable.  The state which was completely devastated by the 2001 disaster is now counted among India’s most promising and advanced states. And that’s why Mr. Modi is a good choice.
Mr. Modi’s track record as well as his great performance and experience as the Gujarat Chief Minister definitely gives him a better edge over others while his tough stance politics can also be very much helpful in uprooting cross border terrorism and Pakistan’s nuisances.
Because of these facts, I do believe that Narendra Modi is the best person suited for the job and can run the country better than his antagonist counterparts as the PM Candidate. These were my personal opinions about Mr. Modi and now it’s on you people to choose the next Prime Minister of the nation.  But do keep in mind that whoever you choose should be a reasonable choice and a good Prime Minister. You should not be disappointed at your choice afterwards. Nation’s future is in your hand. Make a better choice.

The monarch of Bad Luck....

The monarch of Bad Luck

It was the year 1929. The Wall Street had collapsed and millions had lost their valuable jobs. Desperation had engulfed the whole of United States. People had lost all their hopes, wishes and dreams. They wanted God to take away their souls but God also appeared pathetic. Everyday more than hundreds were vanishing out due to starvation. Even a loaf of bread meant the nectar from the God.
But notwithstanding such harsh severities of life, John Pinochet, a thin, bald, long New York banker of height about 6 feet with a broken nose and injured eye, would always say “It’s no harm pay no attention to it, behind everything there is a good reason” and paradoxically he was the man with the worst luck ever. His horoscope was the worst that any man can have and everyday bad things were sure to happen to him. This man failed 10th grade thrice, not because of lack of preparation, but because, the first time just the day before the exam he got his right leg broken, the second time he got stuck in traffic and therefore reached the examination hall half an hour late, the third time he failed because accidentally his fountain pen’s nip broken and the whole ink was smudged on his paper. Who could have more horrifying horoscope than him. If you could still don’t believe that he was the person with the worst luck on the planet, let me tell you about his yesterday’s experience. Yesterday while going to the office, he met with one of the most ferocious bad luck. Someone threw banana’s peel on his bald head and when he looked above to enquire who had done so, a man chewing tobacco accidently spat tobacco on his face but still Pinochet exclaimed It’s no harm pay no attention to it, behind everything there is a good reason”. On the same day, he was sacked from his office. His boss told him that his wife had lost her diamond ring, Pinochet exclaimed “It’s no harm pay no attention to it, behind everything there is a good reason”. Flying in rage and feeling indignant, his boss expelled him with utter insult and criticism. But still Pinochet exclaimed “It’s no harm pay no attention to it, behind everything there is a good reason”. While coming back to home he saw people crying due to starvation, loss of jobs and failure in life. Pinochet approached those people and said “It’s no harm pay no attention to it, behind everything there is a good reason”. Feeling very much resented the people decried Pinochet and beat him black and blue and one heavy robust man even slapped Pinochet and during this course of action, his nail pierced through Pinochet’s and now Pinochet was completely blind but still John exclaimed “It’s no harm pay no attention to it, behind everything there is a good reason”. When people came to know that Pinochet has also lost his second eye the stop beating him and let him go away. Now Pinochet was completely blind and could not walk on his own but dared to go to his home on his own and while walking home he got hit by a car but still this man said “It’s no harm pay no attention to it, behind everything there is a good reason”. Unfortunately the driver who hit him was also a moron and believed on the words of Pinochet and paid no attention to Pinochet and moved ahead treading Pinochet. After that a hefty truck crumbled Pinochet and at last the earth lost its most unfortunate man and yes he was right “It’s no harm pay no attention to it, behind everything there is a good reason”.

Mother, the seed of life.

Mother is indeed the source of life,

She plays a great role in everyone’s life,

From someone’s mother to other’s wife,

She conducts her role with so much unselfishness,

That the omniscient regards her as the sculpture of flawlessness,

On one hand she can fight this stupendous world to save her child,

While on the other hand she can even slap her child to prevent him from going wild,

Even the lord of the lords acknowledge her power,

And that why bestow on her,

His blessings’ shower,

Not caring about night and day,

She will get her child whatever he wants anyway,

She is the most pious and beautiful creation of God,

With so much accuracy and acumen,

She is even defter than the lord,

She is the one due to whom we have got this life,

The one who has protected us from every rife,

The beauty of nature,

The resplendent creation of the world’s creator,

The one who has taught us how to fight,

How to demand our right and earn the might,

She can watch everything happening,

But not her child screaming (in pain),

She is unpartisan and unblemished,

But today we have started throwing her in oblivion,

She is even disregarded by her own scion,

We have started taking her for granted,

Considering her burden and her presence unwanted,

But my friends,

Do keep in mind,

That when you were a child,

Liable to fall down out of your bed,

Vulnerable to death and hapless,

Not caring about her own sleep,

She slept beside your bed,

So that you may not fall,

For her you were, are and will always be here world, her fame of hall.

Lord of the Lords, Shri Parashuram

The day 1st May is in itself one of the most auspicious occasions in the whole year for all my indian brothers as this day marks the resplendent occasion of the birth of one of the greatest gods that the world has ever had and that great deity is Lord Parashurama.

It would not be a hypocrisy to say that Lord Parashurama is the greatest lord of the universe who was not only a great saint, but also a powerful warrior, an obedient son and adorable teacher and the great Lord Parashurama carried out all his duties with utter assiduousness and meticulousness. So is not his anniversary the most pious day in the whole year?

According to Vedic texts, Lord Parashurama is the sixth incarnation (or avatar) of Lord Vishnu, having Brahma as his ancestors and Lord Shiva as his teacher .Now you can very well judge the power of Lord Parashuram, in fact he was a student of the greatest, the lord of the lords, Shiva.

Lord Parashuram has played major roles in Mahabharata, Ramayana as well as all other vedic formations, or you can say  he is just like the atom of all these things, the producer of all these things and also the producer of life on the earth.

Lord Parashurama got his name so because of his weapon, an axe which is known as "Parshu". He his most famous for debilitating the lineage of Kshatriyas, twenty one times after a kshatriya king Kartavirya slayed down his father. Lord Parashurama is regarded as the greatest and most powerful warriors of all the time and no one has been able to trounce him.

As I mentioned earlier that Lord Parashuram is the greatest warrior, best teacher and the most obedient son in the history of the world. So lets now discuss why he is being attributed as the greatest warrior, most obedient son and the best teacher in the history step by step.

According to an old legend The grandfather of Bhargava Parashurama was a great rishi named Rucheeka, and was a direct descendant of Brahma. One day, the rishi was traveling through the countryside seeking a bride. At the time, there were two dominant clans, the Bharat-Suryavamsha, or Solar Dynasty and the Chandra-vamsha, or Lunar Dynasty. The ruling King Gadhi belonged to the Lunar Dynasty and had a beautiful daughter, Satyavati, who was unwed. Rucheeka visited the king, who entertained him at his court. The rishi was besot with the beauty of Satyavati, and at the end of the evening he asked the king to have her as his bride.
The king was taken aback, but could not deny the request of a Brahmin. As such, he agreed to give his daughter away to the rishi, but on condition that Rucheeka give him one-thousand horses, all with one ear black and the body entirely white.
The rishi agreed to the demand of the king. He then did penance to Varuna, and was blessed with the horses that the king had requested. Rucheeka gave them as dowry, and in turn received Satyavati for marriage.
Satyavati adjusted well to an ascetic life as she was blessed with a good countenance, but she did not have any children. Meanwhile, at the kingdom, her father had no heir to the throne as well, and this also worried Satyavati. One day, Rucheeka asked her what was wrong, and she told him of her concerns for the kingdom.
The rishi agreed to help both Satyavati and her mother. He gave Satyavati two potions, one for her mother so that she would have a mighty Kshatriya son, and one for Satyavati so that she would have a son that would become a great sage. Satyavati gave the potions to her mother. However, not trusting the sage, her mother switched the containers.
In time, both mother and daughter found they were expecting children. However, the sage noticed that when he looked at his wife he saw a Kshatriya aura, and he asked what had happened. Satyavati told Rucheeka, to which he responded, 'Now our son will be a great warrior instead of a sage." Satyavati begged the rishi to instead make her grandson become the great warrior and her son a rishi. Seeing her distress, Rucheeka acquiesced. Satyavati gave birth to a son, Jamadagni, who became a great saptarishi, while her grandson Lord Parashuram was sixth incarnation of Vishnu, and one of the greatest warriors of his age and this is how Lord Parashuram proved to be, not one of the greatest but the mightiest as well as the greatest warriors of all times.
Lord Parashuram is also regarded as a paradigm of a great and faithful son. According to an old story, Renuka, the mother of Lord Parashuram, was known for her chastity and devotion to her husband. Such was her faith, that she was able to fetch water from the river in a pot of unbaked clay, with the pot held together only by the strength of her devotion.
One day while at the river, a group of Gandharvas in a chariot passed by in the sky above. Filled with desire for only a moment, the unbaked pot she held dissolved in the river. Afraid to return to her husband, she waited at the river bank, uncertain of what to do next.  Meanwhile, Jamadagni noticed his wife had not returned. Through his yogic powers, he divined all that had taken place and was enraged. The rishi called his eldest son, handed him an axe and asked the boy to kill his mother. Horrifed, the boy refused, and so Jamadagni turned him to stone. He then asked each of his sons, and as they refused, one by one, he turned them to stone. Finally only his youngest son, Parashurama, was left. Ever obedient, the boy beheaded his mother. His this decision shook the whole world. The whole world was convulsed into a pandemonium by his this action, but then Lord Parashuram abided by his duties towards his mother and asked his father to bring back his mother and his brothers to life from stone to flesh. Impressed by the affection and devotion of his son, Jamadagni granted his request.
This was about his being the most obedient son in the history of the world. Now lets try to find out why Lord Parashuram is being regarded as the greatest warrior in the history of mankind.

The violent persecution of Brahmins by Kshatriya had at the time spanned generations. As Rama grew older, he was sincere in his piety, and pleased Lord Shiva with the performation of excruciating tapas. As blessing, he was granted the Parashu of Shiva, after which he was known as Parashurama, or 'Rama with axe'.
Soon after Parashurama received his blessing, King Kartavirya of the Haihaya came upon the hermitage of Jamadagni. The visit happened at a time Parusharama was away in the forest gathering yagna, and although the king had a massive entourage, the saptarishi was able to serve the king a grand feast. When Kartavirya asked how he was able to do so, Jamadagni showed him a blessed Kamadhenu calf, given to Jamadagni by Indra, which was able to grant wishes. Kartavirya was covetous and wanted the calf as his own. The rishi refused, and Kartavirya stole the sacred animal.
Returning home, Parashurama was infuriated and traveled to the royal palace. Brandishing his axe, he decimated its guards and killed the mighty King Kartavirya, retrieving the calf. When he returned home, his father was pleased, but seeing the blood stained axe of Parashurama, also concerned. He cautioned his son he must be aware of wrath and pride. Parashurama accepted the reprimand of his father, in penance, and went on a pilgrimage to holy places for one year in purification.
Meanwhile, the sons of Kartavirya discovered their father at the palace and knew that only Parashurama could have killed him. In revenge, they traveled to the hermitage and murdered Jamadagni, surrounding the rishi and shooting him to death with arrows like a stag. Afterwards, they decapitated his body and took his head with them.
When Parashurama returned home, he found his mother next to the body of his father, crying hysterically as she beat her chest twenty-one times in a row. Furious, he hunted down the sons of Kartavirya at the palace. He killed them all and returned with the head of his father to conduct the cremation. Parashurama then vowed to enact a genocide on the war-mongering Kshatriyas twenty-one times over, once for each time the hand of his mother hit her chest. Parashurama then travelled the whole of Earth, killing all men of the Kshatriya caste, guilty or innocent. The first book of the Mahabharata writes:
In the interval between the Treta and Dwapara Yugas, Parashurama, great among all who have borne arms, urged by impatience of wrongs, repeatedly smote the noble race of Kshatriyas. And when that fiery meteor, by his own valour, annihilated the entire tribe of the Kshatriyas, he formed at Samanta-panchaka five lakes of blood.
According to some old legends, he even broke the teeth of Lord Ganesha, son of Lord Shiva. Parashurama travelled to the Himalayas to pay respect to his teacher, Shiva. While travelling, his path was blocked by Ganesha, son of Shiva and Parvati. Parashurama threw his axe at the elephant-god. Ganesha, knowing the weapon had been given to Parashurama by his father, allowed it to sever his left tusk.
His mother Parvati was infuriated, and declared she would cut off the arms of Parashurama. She took the form of Durgama, becoming omnipotent, but at the last moment, Shiva was able to pacify her by making her see the avatar as her own son. Parashurama also asked her forgiveness, and she finally relented when Ganesha himself spoke on behalf of the warrior-saint. Parashurama then gave his divine axe to Ganesha and blessed him. Another name for Ganesha because of this encounter is Ekadanta, or 'One Tusk'.
All these incidents prove the might of the lord of the lords Shri Parashuram.

Lets now talk about his being the best teacher in the world. Bhishma, Dronacharya and Karna are regarded as one of the greatest warriors of all the times who were never defeated by anyone but do we know how these great soldiers became so much great? All this was just due to the blessings of Lord Parashuram who taught them all.

Lord Parashuram is world's greatest teacher ,warrior, son and saint. He is the incarnation of God whose presence is eternal and who still resides on this earth. So on the great day of Parashuram Jayanti, I on behalf of all my hindus brothers ask for the blessings of Lord Parashuram for the whole nation.
